Welcome to the Homepage of the Diversity and Inclusion Office (DIO).  Established in 2020, DIO is a relatively young unit.  Yet, despite our size and age, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive community where every member feels respected, valued, and a sense of belonging.

Upholding the mutual respect and inclusive spirit of our CUHK community, we, through close collaboration with other offices at CUHK, strive to create a safe and welcoming environment in which every member of the University, regardless of skin colour, gender, ethnic origin, ability, can realise their full potential, free from discrimination and harassment. We firmly believe that embracing our differences in backgrounds, cultures, and experiences deepens empathy, brings us fresh perspectives and expands our understanding of the world.
